Each button on this remote operates different lighting circuit. Buttons 1-7 will operate 7 different light circuits and button 8 will operate all in its range. Pressing the button that corresponds to the lighting circuit that you wish to operate will turn the lights on/off on that lighting circuit. Alternatively you could hold the button and dim through the dimming range of the bulb (cycling through from full brightness to completely dim and vice versa). It is worth noting that all Varilight dimmer switches are able to dim from 0% to 100%.

The Intelligent Varilight V-Pro Eclipse dimmer switches will remember your last dim setting when the light circuit is turned off and will revert to this dim setting when the light circuit is turned on. For example, if you were to set the dim level on the lighting circuit to 60%, with either the remote control or the switch, the next time you turn the light back on it will come on at 60%, simply hold either the remote button or the switch to get back to full brightness in a matter of seconds.

This remote control is compatible with Varilight V-Pro Eclipse Touch/Remote Control LED Backlit Dimmer Switches with the following codes: VARJ**I401, VARJ**I252, VARJ**I403 and VARJ**I254.
