There are many governments that have already jumped on the bandwagon to putting an end to incandescent light bulbs. Many places have clearly gone to incandescent light bulbs as a better means to light their surroundings, either voluntarily or by legislative purposes. Most countries have either already changed over to the fluorescent style bulbs or are in the process of changing over.

In the United States, Congress has just passed a new law that will put and end to regular light bulbs and call for bulbs by the year 2014. to be 25 to 35 percent more efficient that bulbs have been in the past. By using the fluorescent, halogen or LED light bulbs, you may be able to save as much as five dollars off your yearly total energy bill, for each one you install. Sounds like pretty good savings can be had and there is no reason you should not be replacing your light bulbs sooner rather than later. Read the full story
