  • Fire retardent material fire hood prevents the spread of fire in the event of a fire in the room below
  • Fully breathable material eliminates overheating
  • Flexible and light, the unit can be installed from below or above the ceiling
  • Unique self supporting and adjustable fixing method (no tools, screws required)
  • Suitable for use in plasterboard, suspended or concrete ceilings (9-35mm)
  • 30% temperature reduction at terminal block compared to similar products
  • Maintains the ceiling's fire protection integrity for a minimum of 60 minutes as rquired by Building Regulations Documents B and I.E.E Wiring Regulations
  • In addition, Aurora firehoods are tested to BS EN ISO 140-3:1995 & BS EN ISO 140-6:1998 (Acoustics), confirming that they maintain the ability for an internal or seperating floor to provide sound insulation
