LED bulbs used in flagship Milan store
LED bulbs from a leading manufacturer have been fitted into a top retail outfit's flagship store.
Foot Locker's Milan shop has had 39 LED bulbs from Martin installed in its main front window, using the company's Professional EC-20 range.
Situated in a fashionable district in the Italian city, the bulbs offer a "dynamic front window" display that Martin claims creates a "startling and bold" look and makes it stand out from other shops in the area.
James Breaks, associate director of rpa:vision, the design and consultancy firm who organised the installation, said that the brightness and ability to transmit all types of digital graphic was key in the decision to choose Martin's product.
"The LED screen can be used as an effective white board for companies to come up with display content," he explained.
LED bulbs were recently fitted at co-operative stores on Italy's Adriatic Coast, helping to transform shop fronts and save energy.
